Social anxiety isn’t cool.

OCD isn’t cool.

Bipolar disorder isn’t cool.

Depression isn’t cool.

Cutting isn’t cool.

Phobias aren’t cool.

Trauma isn’t cool.

Sleep disorders aren’t cool.

Eating disorders aren’t cool.

They’re real things, they’re scary, and pretending you have them is just fucking obnoxious and an insult.

Grieving Mom Cries for Help: Says Local Media and Police Chief Wrongfully Blame Her for Her Baby’s Death
By Evelyn Red Lodge
Rapid City – A sobbing mother who lost her 3-year-old son in a vehicle accident on Friday and has most of her immediate family in intensive care today called Last Real Indians to report disturbing news.
She began, “Please help me. I lost my baby, and the Rapid City Journal is making it sound like I was drunk and killed my baby.”
Once she could speak again she said, “The Rapid City Journal posted my son’s name in the story and I didn’t even have time to notify everyone. The accident happened at 2:30 p.m. and the Journal posted that story too soon.  Then the writer said I was in the accident.  I was in Rapid City when it (the accident) happened.  And there’s more.”  READ MORE AT: http://www.lastrealindians.com/2012/05/07/grieving-mom-cries-for-help-says-local-media-and-police-chief-wrongfully-blame-her-for-her-babys-death/#more-720

cultural appropriation vs cultural exchange

blackcurator:

eating a polish food at a polish restaurant ran by a polish owners = cultural exchange.

wearing ceremonial japanese robes for a fashion shoot and calling it an asian dress = cultural appropriation.

I think I better put Chester back with his friends.

But I noticed that the only friend he has there is Timmy.

Where is AJ he is clearly the best character.

Random observation #434,839

I was thinking to myself about how many of the people I’ve “dated” have a song that I associate with them.

My first “boyfriend” (I was twelve so it really doesn’t count, but we kind of got back together briefly in high school) was “Amazed” by Lonestar.

My second was “My Boo” by Usher and Alicia Keys.

Third there was “Back in Black” by AC/DC.

Fourth was “Sarah Maria” by James Taylor.

Then there was “I miss You” by Blink182, which is a shame because that song is now ruined for me.

Along came “Wond’ring Aloud” by Jethro Tull.

Next, “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson.

Penultimately, “Again, Again” by Lady Gaga.

Now, it’s Vagabond Opera’s rendition of Edith Piaf’s “Milord”.

Idk why I’m posting this. I was just thinking about it.
